The teaching warehouse of Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) will use our cloud-native WMS plx.wmx® going forward.

With plx.wmx®, students gain a realistic insight into the management of a logistics center: goods receipt, warehouse processes, picking, packing and loading – including MDE and, prospectively, Pick-by-Voice and Pick-by-Light.

💡 The teaching warehouse of Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM) will use our cloud-native WMS plx.wmx® going forward.

With this, HM is expanding its practice-oriented teaching in the Industrial Engineering program with a focus on Logistics by adding a central element of modern intralogistics.

With plx.wmx®, students will gain a realistic insight into the management of a logistics center: from goods receipt, putaway, relocation and retrieval through to picking, packing and loading. In addition to classic MDE processes, our flexibly scalable software at HM will prospectively also integrate and bring to life planned technologies such as Pick-by-Voice and Pick-by-Light.

An important component of the teaching warehouse solution is the active involvement of students. Basic configuration tasks such as creating items and storage locations can be carried out independently within the system. This fosters a deeper understanding of operational workflows and technical interrelationships.

Alexander Bäck, responsible for the Laboratory for Warehouse Logistics:
"We chose the WMS solution from PureLoX SOLUTIONS because the cloud-native software architecture with microservices is technically state-of-the-art and highly flexible. A major advantage is that the software can be integrated quickly and easily while keeping all future options open. The intuitive user interface makes it easy for our students to understand the functions in the WMS and configure them independently."

The implementation of plx.wmx® on the university's local servers is carried out entirely remotely. This allows HM to make optimal use of its existing infrastructure and integrate the solution efficiently into its own operations. In addition, students will have access to our online platform plx.knowledge, featuring the product manual and FAQs.

At PureLoX SOLUTIONS, we have a strong interest in giving young people early access to modern logistics software. With this project, we are making a lasting contribution to the training of qualified emerging talent and supporting the innovative capacity of practice-oriented university education.

We are delighted about the decision of Hochschule München to choose our WMS solution plx.wmx® and look forward to working together. 🎓 🌟 📦
