SIRUM TMS

We use Sirum as our central TMS for campaign logistics as well as for part-load and full-load transport. Particularly for time-critical POS campaigns with varying volumes, dispatch points, and recipient structures, Sirum helps us plan transports in a structured way, manage them transparently, and track them reliably. A key added value lies in consolidating all transport-relevant information in one system. Sirum reduces manual coordination effort, provides a clear overview of status and costs, and ensures clean, traceable processes — even for complex, project-driven transport structures. For us, Sirum is therefore a central foundation for efficient operations and scalable growth.

Our experience with Sirum GmbH and SIRUM TMS has been consistently positive. The software covers our functional requirements very well. Particularly decisive for us is the high degree of adaptability in mapping different transport types, campaign logic, and loading equipment management. Sirum can be flexibly tailored to our project- and campaign-driven processes, offering practical configuration options without introducing unnecessary complexity. This allows us to work efficiently and further develop workflows quickly and in a structured manner whenever needed.

Sirum supports us significantly in making data-driven decisions, as all transport-relevant information is available centrally, in a structured format, and ready for analysis at any time. Through transparent status, cost, and performance data, we can identify deviations early, manage transports in a targeted manner, and continuously optimize processes. Especially in campaigns and variable transport structures, the database enables well-founded decisions rather than operational gut decisions.

Looking ahead, we would welcome additional, even more in-depth analytics and reporting features, particularly with regard to cost, performance, and campaign comparisons. In addition, further automated interfaces to upstream and downstream systems (such as accounting systems), as well as more options for individual KPI definition, would be helpful in order to further strengthen data-driven management and scalability.

Our experience with Sirum GmbH has been very positive. We have been working with the system since 2019 and particularly appreciate the continuous development, the flexibility of the Solution, and the fast, friendly support. We use Sirum for the dispatching and management of our daily luggage transports for airlines. The solution connects dispatchers, drivers, and airport staff in one central system. This reduces communication errors, improves order traceability, and accelerates workflows between pickup, delivery, and status notification to the customer.

Sirum offers a stable and practical system that makes our daily transport processes significantly more efficient. The software covers our requirements very well. Particularly helpful is the flexible route planning and the integration with external systems. Adjustments to processes or screens can generally be implemented quickly. For specific requirements, e.g. the integration of new data fields or interfaces, Sirum proves to be open and solution-oriented.

Sirum provides us with clear data on routes, transit times, and driver performance. This allows us to identify bottlenecks, conduct performance analyses, and optimize our processes in a targeted manner. The reporting capabilities in particular help us make operational decisions based on reliable key figures rather than gut feeling.

Extended reporting functions would be desirable, e.g. for automated KPI reports. Currently, these still require a significant amount of manual customization by the user.

All in all a good program. Takes some getting used to, but manageable. The only area for improvement is the fact that there are features/updates that are not available to users or not communicated — this should be better communicated by Sirum.

Sirum simplifies our work by presenting our processes more clearly, facilitating a paperless office, and being easy to use from anywhere.

A customizable adaptation of orders to company-specific requirements would be desirable. Some documents have different file names, but the design is the same (order + order confirmation).

We use Sirum to record our customer orders and transport orders, handle billing, and also manage our document management through the system.
