Frequently asked questions

The Logistics Label is an e-paper display with a rewritable RFID tag and operates entirely without a battery. The energy required for data updates is supplied by the RFID field of an update device. As standard, CCL Faubel offers two different devices. Using the industrial handheld, data or print jobs can be selected on the display to initiate an update. The booster can be connected via Bluetooth to existing devices that are not themselves suitable for updates. In conjunction with the Smart Device Service, it can also be connected to a PC via USB and used for updates. There is no risk of conflicts with existing wireless infrastructure, as the Smart Label displays are updated via NFC interface.
