Exotec develops, implements and operates holistic, scalable end-to-end systems for storage, order picking and material flow control, based on its own robotics, software and control technology. The company's core Solution, the Skypod® system, is a fully robotic goods-to-person picking solution that consolidates all key functions of warehouse logistics into a single system: storage, buffering, sequencing and order picking. The autonomous warehouse robots move at speeds of up to 4 m/s, climb up to 14 metres high and navigate beneath the racks. This enables up to 30% greater storage density and 50% higher picking efficiency — without the need for additional conveyor technology or consolidation zones. With more than 200 completed customer projects worldwide across Europe, North America and Asia, Exotec supports leading companies in e-commerce, retail, grocery, manufacturing and 3PL in future-proofing the transformation of their warehouse processes. Customers include Decathlon, Dosenbach-Ochsner AG, Uniqlo and Gap, among others. The Solutions are suitable for both greenfield and brownfield projects and can be scaled during live operations by simply adding robots, stations or racks. For customers, this means greater process stability, reduced investment risk and shorter time-to-operation. To date, Exotec has raised $446 million in funding from notable investors including Goldman Sachs, 83North, Dell Technologies Capital, Iris Capital, 360 Capital Partners and Breega.
