Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH · Plan warehouse layout
Logistics Planning
Logistics planning is the foundation of a successful logistics concept. The goal of technology- and vendor-neutral warehouse and logistics planning is to find the most optimal and cost-effective logistics solution. We develop product-neutral solutions that fit the structure of the company, optimize material flows, and identify potential savings.

Overview
Professional logistics planning guarantees a vendor-independent perspective on the most economically viable and effective solution for internal logistics tasks. The goal of logistics planning is a precise calculation that takes into account all relevant parameters within the warehouse. Completely transparent calculations and communication with our customers that is always focused on partnership and openness are our most effective tools. The result of professional consulting and effective logistics planning is highly efficient processes that cover material flow, productivity, and just-in-time management across all areas. Klinkhammer draws on the system components of numerous established manufacturers and thereby has access to an extremely broad solution portfolio. In doing so, we assess profitability and performance over the entire service life, analyze factors that may influence these, and take material, personnel, and time-related factors into account. The logistics concept must not only meet the current requirements of internal logistics — it must also be flexible enough to respond and adapt to future developments. The goal of warehouse and logistics planning is to avoid building unnecessary overcapacity while also never permanently operating at the limit.

How users rate Logistics Planning
100 % of reviewers would recommend this solution (counts reviews that scored the recommendation question 4 or 5 out of 5; 1 to 3 counts as no recommendation).
How we calculate the even Score
The even Score (0 to 100) sets the order of solutions. It is based only on published reviews:
- 85% quality: the average of performance, reliability and maintenance effort per review.
- Recency: newer reviews count more. After one year, a review counts only half as much.
- Smoothing: with few reviews, the value is pulled towards the category average. A single review cannot push a solution to the very top or bottom.
- 15% recommendation: how many reviewers would recommend the solution (NPS logic).
None of this can be bought: plans, advertising and partnerships play no part.
What users say about Logistics Planning
The Solution "Logistics Planning" receives an overall Review score of 4.3/5, with quality of work (4/5) and responsiveness (4/5) falling below the category average (4.9/5). Communication is rated 5/5, which is above average. The only Review comes from a company with more than 250 employees from a different industry, highlighting the team's planning expertise. The Solution's strengths lie in technical competence and the practical implementation of planning, particularly in data analysis. The consultants were able to effectively capture the company's requirements and incorporate them into the planning process. A recurring theme is flexibility in handling unexpected challenges, with the majority of approaches being pragmatic. A weakness is responsiveness, which is perceived as having room for improvement compared to the high communication rating. An NPS score of 0 indicates that there is still room to optimize customer satisfaction. Companies from smaller industries may have different experiences, as only one Review is currently available.

„Strong planning expertise with selective potential for improvement“
Our experience with Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH in logistics planning was predominantly very positive. Particularly noteworthy is the performance of the planning team, which developed a well-thought-out, robust plan from a limited data basis and numerous assumptions. In terms of expertise and methodology, the team was extremely competent, practical, and solution-oriented.
Despite our initial lack of experience, the colleagues effectively captured our requirements and translated them into the planning in a comprehensible way. The proposals were technically sound, aligned with our objectives, and helped us gain clarity on a subject that was new to us.
The very strong data analysis to use the available data for achieving the best possible layout design as well as size and performance dimensioning.
Within the project, there were varying approaches to handling unexpected changes. A pragmatic approach was predominantly applied.
