Overview
Conventional storage systems require space for walkways and driveways. The AutoStore system, by contrast, operates with a grid structure that eliminates this wasted space and makes full use of every available cubic meter. AutoStore robots travel across the top of the grid at speeds of up to four meters per second, storing and retrieving bins. Picking takes place at workstations, which are seamlessly integrated into the existing intralogistics setup. The Controller serves as the interface for internal data flow and, in conjunction with any WMS software, provides fast access to inventory data.
