Overview
Kardex can implement this small-parts storage solution either as a standalone system or integrated into a comprehensive logistics concept, including additional warehouse automation technology. The AutoStore Ports can be combined with automated conveyor systems to enable seamless transport of orders to subsystems. Modular IT concepts are used to meet individual requirements. To operate the AutoStore Ports in a fully automated manner, Kardex can additionally integrate high-speed pick-and-place robots at the workstations. These robots optimize picking, consolidation, and replenishment processes. For smooth operations and minimal picking errors, Kardex combines AutoStore Solutions with the Intuitive Picking Assistant. This picking assistant visually guides the user through the picking process and detects hand movements to provide immediate feedback when an incorrect item is retrieved. AutoStore is a versatile Solution suitable for companies of all sizes and industries. Kardex war der einzige Integrator, der sowohl die fachliche Tiefe als auch die Bereitschaft zeigte, eine vollständige End-to-End-Lösung für unser spezifisches Problem zu entwickeln. Die gemeinsam erarbeitete Lösung schafft einen effizienten Warenfluss und ermöglicht die konsistente Konsolidierung von Paletten- und AutoStore-Picks in einem integrierten Prozess
Die Zusammenarbeit mit Kardex war in allen Projektphasen überzeugend. Vom ersten Konzept bis zur finalen Implementierung hat Kardex flexibel, lösungsorientiert und fachlich stark agiert. Neue Anforderungen wurden schnell aufgenommen und gemeinsam in effiziente, tragfähige Konzepte überführt.
Sehr zufrieden. Im Projektverlauf gab es zahlreiche Fragen, Änderungen und Unklarheiten. Kardex hat in jeder Phase – von der Angebotsausarbeitung bis zur Implementierung – flexibel reagiert und war jederzeit bereit, pragmatische und gemeinsame Lösungen zu finden.
Die technischen Ziele wurden vollständig erreicht. Bei der zeitlichen Umsetzung kam es zu Verzögerungen, die jedoch ausschließlich auf externe Faktoren – insbesondere streikbedingte Lieferausfälle an den Häfen – zurückzuführen waren. Das Projekt wurde global geführt und lokal umgesetzt. Dabei zeigte sich, dass die Kompetenzen der lokalen Kardex-Teams nicht in allen Regionen auf dem gleichen Niveau lagen.
