Our high-performance and modular EKXa impresses as a Mobile Robot, developed on the basis of our proven electric order picker/trilateral stacker EKX. The EKXa is distinguished by maximum performance at lift heights of up to 13,000 mm and sets benchmarks in automated narrow-aisle warehousing.
Overview
Equipped with an 80-volt drive and a maintenance-free synchronous reluctance motor, it reaches entirely new performance dimensions while simultaneously reducing energy consumption. With the optional integration of an on-board charger as well as a conductor rail and current collector, it is ideally equipped for 24/7 operation. The optional 360° safety sensor system enables the use of the EKXa in an open, non-fenced narrow-aisle warehouse. With the optional pallet and empty-space detection feature, existing racking in previously manually operated narrow-aisle warehouses can be automated. Thanks to field-proven inductive guidance in combination with RFID transponders, precise positioning at the storage location as well as automatic aisle changes become possible. With the option of step-by-step automation, all paths to warehouse processes with maximum availability, efficiency and performance are open to you.

„A Classic“
I have been working with EKX devices for over 10 years, implementing carton picking operations as well as full pallet movements.
The EKX are legendary among narrow-aisle machines — and not without good reason.
The EKX range has delivered reliable, mature, and user-friendly devices for decades. Performance is excellent and handling is effortlessly simple. Acceptance within my teams has always been very high.
The devices have continuously evolved; reliability has never been an issue. Wear and maintenance costs have also been low.
With warehouse navigation and vehicle automation, all the features I wished for in the past are now available.
