ACH iGo - Autonomous Horizontal Goods Transport

Overview

The ACH iGo is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for the efficient and safe transport of pallets, mesh boxes, and customer-specific load carriers at ground level. Developed specifically for use in production, warehouse, and distribution environments, it is suitable for industries such as automotive, e-commerce, retail, food, and pharma. Navigation is QR code-based, enabling precise, stable, and reproducible vehicle guidance even in complex layouts. The ACH iGo is CE-certified, meets the safety requirements of EN ISO 3691-4, and is VDA-5050-ready, allowing integration into modern fleet and traffic management systems. Alternatively, the vehicle can be operated as a standalone solution without WMS or ERP connectivity. With a payload capacity of up to 1,500 kg, the ACH iGo supports various transfer points such as floor stations, conveyor systems, or manual workstations. Thanks to its lithium-ion battery and contact-based charging options, energy-efficient 24/7 operation is achievable. Remote diagnostics and software-assisted maintenance reduce the need for permanent on-site service. The ACH iGo offers companies a scalable, future-proof solution for automating internal material flows and increasing productivity, process reliability, and transparency.

Frequently asked questions

The ACH iGo solution consists of the autonomous mobile robot ACH iGo itself, which handles the floor-level transport of pallets and load carriers, along with integrated vehicle hardware including the drive system, sensors, safety laser scanners, a camera system for QR code-based navigation, a control unit, and a lithium-ion battery. The vehicle is complemented by onboard software for navigation, order execution, and safety logic. For the coordinated operation of multiple vehicles, a fleet management system with traffic management is available, which also enables connectivity to higher-level IT systems such as WMS, LES, or ERP, as well as a VDA-5050-capable interface. The complete solution also includes transfer and charging infrastructure such as ground stations, conveyor technology, and contact-based charging points. Service and diagnostic tools for monitoring, remote diagnostics, and software-supported maintenance round out the solution.
