How we calculate the even Score

The even Score (0 to 100) sets the order of solutions. It is based only on published reviews:

  • 85% quality: the average of performance, reliability and maintenance effort per review.
  • Recency: newer reviews count more. After one year, a review counts only half as much.
  • Smoothing: with few reviews, the value is pulled towards the category average. A single review cannot push a solution to the very top or bottom.
  • 15% recommendation: how many reviewers would recommend the solution (NPS logic).

None of this can be bought: plans, advertising and partnerships play no part.

„An all-around successful picking aid“

In which area do you use the solution, and what problem does it solve for you?

We use justPick in our first logistics center, dedicated specifically to veterinary medicine, for the automated picking of goods from an AutoStore system. The solution helps us increase throughput and minimize manual intervention, which is especially critical during peak periods.

What is your overall impression of the solution?

An all-around successful picking aid and a clear recommendation!

What specific benefits does the solution offer for your processes, and how do they contribute to improving operations?

The Nomagic team installed our first picking robot within a tight timeframe, immediately boosting operational efficiency.

What challenges do you see regarding hardware reliability?

Hardware reliability is no longer a challenge. The challenges lie in the adaptability of the software/AI to future developments and in the consistent order feed from our inventory management system to the picking robot.

What additional features or functions would you like to see in the solution?

For the future, it would be helpful if the picking robot had "fingers" that allow it to pick shrink-wrapped goods as a whole unit in the case of full-pack picking, and to unpack and separate them in the case of single-item picking.

Frequently asked questions

The justPick solution from Nomagic consists of a combination of hardware and software components that automate the picking process. The hardware includes a precision robotic arm, customizable grippers (e.g., vacuum or pincer grippers), 3D cameras and sensors for object detection, and a control module for integration into warehouse processes. The software is based on AI and machine learning algorithms that identify objects, optimize gripping and movement strategies, and adapt to new item types. A real-time interface connects the system to the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to update inventory and prioritize orders. The robot cells are installed completely within a safety enclosure after customer acceptance testing has been completed at the test lab.
