Whether polybags, blister packaging, mesh fabric packaging or unpackaged goods – the GEBHARDT SimplePick AI Robot handles a wide variety of items reliably and efficiently. Its intelligent gripping and suction system picks products precisely from small load carriers (SLCs) that can be divided into up to eight compartments. The picked items are placed flexibly into SLC containers – either at variable positions or according to precisely defined placement patterns. With a throughput of up to 1,000 picks per hour, depending on the product, the GEBHARDT SimplePick AI Robot significantly increases picking performance. The mobile, fully automated design enables fast and straightforward connection to existing conveyor systems or workstations. Switching between manual, semi-automated and fully automated operation is possible at any time, ensuring maximum flexibility during ongoing operations. The cobot integrates seamlessly into existing GEBHARDT systems such as GEBHARDT SimplePick, GEBHARDT InstaPick®, and conventional conveyor technology. Even in the event of disruptions, material flow is maintained: containers that have not been picked are automatically forwarded to manual workstations with a buffer function. Thanks to low safety requirements, the robot can work directly alongside people without a separate safety enclosure – ideal for efficient human-robot collaboration.
