Cut'it!™ EVO is a fully automatic inline packaging machine for end-of-line operations. It consists of: Infeed conveyor with box detection and height measurement Cutting and scoring unit for reducing box height Folding station for the trimmed side walls Lid magazine with easy refilling and automatic lid feeding Gluing system with integrated adhesive reservoir 12-inch color touchscreen (HMI) on a swivel arm, operable from both sides of the machine Online connectivity for KPI reporting, remote maintenance and camera system Optionally expandable with Cut'it!™ EVO Multi-Lid (up to four different lids on one line), Print'it!™ (on-demand color printing on the lid) and Pad'it!™ (automatic insertion of paper pads).

How does the solution work in detail?

Accepted Answer

After picking and filling, the open box travels via conveyor into the machine. Cut'it!™ EVO measures the highest point of the contents and trims the box to exactly that height. The combined cutting and scoring process folds the side walls inward, producing zero waste material. A lid is then taken from the magazine, placed on top and firmly glued in place. The finished, perfectly sized, sealed box exits the machine ready for dispatch — at up to 15 boxes per minute. The machine processes box lengths from 230 to 650 mm, widths from 150 to 450 mm and heights up to 470 mm (FEFCO 0200/452/453; additional formats available on request).
