Overview
The system consists of a robust welded frame construction and operates as an automatic erector, designed for a specific format range. Magazine feeding is carried out via a horizontal magazine with vertically stored folding box blanks. The folding boxes are pulled from the magazine and erected as a sleeve. The base flaps are folded in during transport to the closing station in a continuous flow. The separation from the magazine as well as the transport of the folding box are supported by vacuum. Once the base flaps of the folding box are folded in, the folding box passes through the closing station and is sealed at the base with the appropriate closing medium. To facilitate a tape change, the closing head can be swiveled upward or removed. For the hot glue erector, a hotmelt feeder can optionally be included. The system is operated via an easy-to-use touch panel. The folding box erector can communicate with downstream system components, such as a label dispenser or a roller conveyor.
