Carton Sealer

The system is built on a robust welded frame construction. Folding cartons arriving in random format sequence are aligned and identified by a measuring and centering station integrated into the machine frame. External communication, for example with a barcode scanner, is supported as standard. Automatically adjusting lateral drive cassettes convey the folding carton through the system. The top flaps are folded automatically. The top flaps are sealed with a tape closure during transit. To accomplish this, the centrally positioned dispenser applies the adhesive tape to the top flaps while the folding carton is conveyed through the machine. The system is equipped with signal lights that provide early notification when the adhesive tape roll is running low. In the event of a fault, no further folding carton is accepted by the machine. Within the specified format range, the ACL-XXX can theoretically process any folding carton format automatically. Macrolon panels secure the working area and allow monitoring of the sealing process. If required, the folding carton sealer can communicate with upstream or downstream system components such as a roller conveyor or a higher-level control system.
