SAFELOG M4 tow
The SAFELOG M4 tow transport robot, with a height of just 220 mm, can travel beneath virtually all common trailers and trolleys. Via a system of lifting bolts and a snap latch combined with an RFID reader for overhead vehicle detection, these can be coupled and decoupled automatically. The maximum towing capacity is 1,500 kg.

Overview
The robots of the SAFELOG M4 series cover a wide range of intralogistics tasks. With a device length of 1,460 mm, the turning radius is just 1,000 mm, making the robots exceptionally maneuverable and agile. The brushless servo motor gives the SAFELOG M4 robots a high starting torque. In addition, the drive system enables a speed range of 0.02 m/s to 1.6 m/s. The M4 series devices are certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with the internationally applicable machinery product standard EN-ISO 3691-4:2020, and the robust steel chassis is also protected against dust and splash water to IP54. Thanks to the intelligent, agent-based SAFELOG control system, the mobile robots communicate both with each other and with peripheral systems. A central control station is rendered unnecessary by the swarm intelligence software intelliAgent; the required interfaces, such as VDA 5050, for integration with a control station are of course available.
