SAFELOG S3 core

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the devices of the SAFELOG S3 series can rotate on the spot within a diameter of less than 90 cm. The mobile robots are therefore ideally suited for processes in confined spaces. A laser scanner facing the direction of travel with configurable warning and safety zones ensures reduced speed or a complete stop when obstacles are detected in the hazard zone. Communication between the robots and with peripheral systems takes place via Wi-Fi. The agent-based control system IntelliAgent of the SAFELOG AGV models requires no higher-level control center, thanks to swarm intelligence. If integration with a central control center is desired, this can be achieved, for example, via VDA 5050. Like all mobile robots from SAFELOG, the S3 devices are also VDA 5050-ready. The S3 core, as the base configuration, can be equipped with customer-specific superstructures to transport, for example, KLTs or cardboard packaging. The primary area of application is the classic linking of source and destination — for example, a picking station and a packing and shipping station.
