With a height of 220 mm, the SAFELOG S3 tow mobile transport robot can travel beneath the majority of commercially available trolleys and trailers. These are automatically coupled and decoupled via a lifting pin snap-latch system. The maximum towing load is 500 kg.
Overview
The vehicles of the S3 product family are the compact devices within SAFELOG's range of mobile robots. The transport robot is distinguished above all by its agility and versatile range of applications. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the SAFELOG S3 series devices can rotate on the spot within a diameter of less than 90 cm. The mobile robots are therefore ideally suited for processes in confined spaces. A laser scanner facing the direction of travel, with configurable warning and safety zones, ensures reduced speed or a complete stop when obstacles are detected in the hazard area. Communication between the robots and with peripheral systems takes place via WLAN. SAFELOG's agent-based control system, IntelliAgent, requires no higher-level control center thanks to swarm intelligence. If integration with a fleet manager is desired, this can be achieved, for example, via VDA5050. Like all SAFELOG mobile robots, the S3 devices are also VDA 5050-ready.
