The mobile robot SAFELOG X1 spin picks up its load via a central, rotatable lifting unit. This unit can raise the transported goods to a lifting height of 80 mm and handle loads of up to 1,200 kg top load. The X1 spin is equipped with a rotation unit that allows the robot and the load to rotate independently of each other. This means that the transported goods can be repositioned even in confined spaces
Overview
The SAFELOG X1 product family of mobile transport robots is characterized by high agility and flexibility. The models in the X1 series bridge the gap between the SAFELOG M4 and L2 devices. Depending on the configuration, the mobile robots can be used for pallet or mesh box transport, as Goods-to-Person (G2P) systems, and as assembly platforms. The modified drive system allows speeds between 0.02 and 1.6 m/s. In addition, all robot variants are capable of space-saving on-the-spot rotation. The minimum turning radius is 100 cm. To ensure the highest level of safety, the SAFELOG X1 is equipped with a safety laser scanner in every direction of travel. As with all X1 series devices, communication is handled via Wi-Fi. Control is managed either through SAFELOG's proprietary software with swarm intelligence or via an interface — such as VDA 5050 — to a central control station. With the mobile robot X1 spin, SAFELOG addresses the challenge of minimizing process times in large warehouses and in difficult space conditions.
