The vendor-independent SYNAOS Intralogistics Management Platform (IMP) provides an efficient Solution for managing heterogeneous fleets of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). With the standardized VDA 5050 interface, SYNAOS enables the integration and control of vehicles from various manufacturers. This gives you maximum flexibility and adaptability to your operational requirements. The control center allows you to respond quickly to changing conditions and optimize your material flow. SYNAOS IMP integrates AGVs and AMRs on a central platform and provides continuous, event-driven optimization for the best real-time results. Efficient traffic management controls vehicle flow and prevents congestion. Intelligent route planning responds to real-time events to ensure maximum efficiency. The platform offers a user-friendly interface for monitoring the shopfloor, orders, and vehicle status. All key notifications and alerts are displayed in the Notification Center. „Central platform for a wide variety of transport systems in intralogistics“
We use the Synaos Intralogistics Platform to automate our intralogistics operations. The platform enables us to centrally coordinate and optimally deploy mobile robots from various manufacturers, as well as manual transport systems (e.g. forklifts). This is based on VDA5050, which makes us manufacturer-independent and allows us to avoid IT integration as well as additional interfaces within our IT infrastructure.
I would recommend the Synaos Platform at any time within the ZF Group, as well as in external working groups, without hesitation.
The software aligns with our IT strategy regarding cloud-based architecture. It is scalable. New requirements can be integrated in a targeted manner.
Through simulations within the platform, it helps us to anticipate market fluctuations in advance and to evaluate new process integrations and their impacts. This allows us to identify bottlenecks in a targeted manner and optimize material flows.
Support for AMR functionalities such as those in VDA5050 3.0 should be integrated as soon as possible.

We use the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform to manage our automated guided vehicle systems. The Solution helps us to efficiently coordinate different vehicle types and to standardize our processes as well as the required interfaces across plants. This enables us to roll out the Solution quickly and cost-efficiently throughout the entire group.
SYNAOS is a true innovation partner. The collaboration is characterized by high professionalism, fast responsiveness, and a deep understanding of our challenges. From the very first contact, it is clear that SYNAOS has been in the market for several years and that its employees have built up a great deal of expertise. The platform has taken our intralogistics to a new level – highly recommended!
The SYNAOS platform largely covers our requirements. The vendor-independent integration in particular is a major advantage. In some areas, however, we would like to see more configuration options, for example in the display of statistics or in the customization of the shopfloor layout.
In principle, it is not us who make the data-based decisions, but rather the SYNAOS IMP that handles this for us. The algorithm ensures that new transport orders are always assigned to the most suitable means of transport.
Full support for AMR functionalities for obstacle avoidance and free pathfinding by the AMR would be an important next step. VDA5050 Version 3.0 is expected to bring these capabilities, and we would hope that SYNAOS integrates them quickly.
